OUR HISTORY

Classic Treasures was founded by Blake Addison. While pursuing a career as a singer/songwriter in Nashville, TN, Blake worked for a furniture consignment store. He learned the ins and outs of the business while working his way up from warehouse worker to store manager. Blake decided to use his experience in the consignment furniture industry to open a store of his own in Durham, NC.

Blake's passion for antique furniture comes from his father, Dan Addison. Dan is one of the most sought after interior designers on the East Coast. With 40 years experience in the antique and furniture industries, its no wonder his immense talent and eye for design have rubbed off on Blake.

Classic Treasures has grown with leaps and bounds since its opening in October 2002, relocating after only seven months, Now in its third location, Classic Treasures is the largest and number one furniture consignment store in the Triangle, boasting a beautiful 12,500 square foot showroom!
